9 year old FS Sheltie with Transitional Cell Carcinoma in the bladder likely originating in urethra. Unsure of extent of disease within urethra. US has been done. Unable to pass U cath. Question: Can we use a vaginal insuflation to affect the mass in the urethra? Also, is there risk of inflaming/swelling the tumor? Concerned due to small space Straining much improved with Piroxicam and Chinese Herbals but we have no way to evaluate the degree of tumor within urethra and do not wish to cause harm.

We are using lots of SQ ozonated saline and it is keeping the inflammation down. Doing rectal or vaginal would be great. A dog about 25 ibs would get about 120 cc of ozonated saline a day as long does not have heart murmur. Give rectal one about 60 cc or vagina about 30cc and repeat or place 2 catheters one longer to deliver and one shorter to remove excess
